Kodak Gold 200 look for Lightroom & Sony Alpha

Gold 200 is the drugstore film that turned into an aesthetic: a golden overall cast, punchy yellows and reds, shadows that lean slightly green, and blacks that never quite reach black. Cheap film chemistry became a look people now deliberately buy.

How to shoot and edit it

  • Sunlight is the point. Gold in flat grey light just looks yellow.
  • Let shadows go a bit green — that cast is the film's fingerprint.
  • Grain should be visible. Too clean and it reads as a warm filter instead of film.

What you'll get
